Bhaisaab Online, a subsidiary of Global Infocloud Pvt Ltd, is looking for charismatic and camera-friendly News Anchors to join our dynamic news team in Pune. As a News Anchor, you will be responsible for delivering news reports and live broadcasts in Hindi, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and a strong connection with our audience. Responsibilities:
On-Air Presentations: Deliver live news broadcasts, breaking news updates, and special reports in Hindi with confidence and professionalism.
Maintain a strong on-camera presence, engaging viewers, and conveying information effectively.
Research and Preparation: Stay well-informed about current events, both national and international, and thoroughly research news stories before presenting them. Collaborate with the editorial team to gather information and scripts for news segments.
Adherence to Editorial Standards: Uphold the highest standards of journalistic integrity, ensuring accuracy, impartiality, and objectivity in all news presentations. Follow Bhaisaab Online's editorial guidelines and policies.
Live Reporting: Conduct live interviews and discussions with experts, guests, and correspondents. Handle unscripted and breaking news situations with composure and clarity.
Engagement: Interact with the audience through social media and respond to viewers' questions and comments. Build a loyal viewer base by connecting with the audience on a personal level.
Requirements:
Fluent in Hindi: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in Hindi are a must.
Camera Friendly: Comfortable and confident in front of the camera with a pleasing on-air presence.
News Savvy: Stay up-to-date with current events and demonstrate a strong understanding of news reporting.
Journalism Background: A degree in journalism or related field and prior experience in news anchoring or reporting is preferred but not mandatory.
Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced news environment, including flexible working hours and breaking news coverage.
Team Player: Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with producers, editors, and fellow anchors.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with newsroom equipment, teleprompters, and live streaming platforms is a plus.
