Key Responsibilities:
Video Editing:
- Edit and assemble video footage, ensuring high-quality output with proper sequencing, pacing, and storytelling.
- Incorporate visual effects, transitions, graphics, and sound to enhance video content.
- Color correct and grade videos for consistent and appealing visuals.
Post-Production:
- Manage and organize video assets, including footage, audio files, and graphics.
- Sync and mix audio tracks, add voiceovers, and incorporate music to enhance the viewer's experience.
- Ensure video files are optimized for various distribution channels and platforms.
Content Creation:
- Collaborate with the content and creative teams to understand project objectives and desired outcomes.
- Generate creative ideas and concepts for video content that aligns with the company's goals.
Visual Effects and Animation:
- Create and integrate motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance video storytelling.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques for video editing and animation.
Quality Control:
- Conduct quality checks and reviews to maintain the highest standards of video production.
- Address feedback and revisions to ensure the final video meets project requirements.
Workflow Management:
- Manage video projects efficiently, including file organization, version control, and project timelines.
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate and deliver final video assets on time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Video Editing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing various video projects.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong understanding of video codecs, formats, and resolution settings.
- Knowledge of audio editing and mixing software (e.g., Adobe Audition).
- Proficiency in motion graphics and animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
- Attention to detail, creativity, and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with current video editing and animation trends.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
